Peace and Calm Yoga Retreat St Lucia – Balenbouche Estate

This Yoga retreat in St Lucia will take place on 24 May to 02 June 2020 at a serene place called Balenbouche Estate, which is set within a historic plantation on the south-western coast of St Lucia. Its historic grounds are shaded by banyan, fanboy and mango trees. Balenbouch Estate is a guest house, a working plantation and a heritage site. The main estate house dates back to the 19th century.
There are many resting areas, creative landscape features, and viewing points. Natural trails run alongside the river, which once powered the sugar mill. There are several secluded beaches adjoining the estate, all within a few minutes’ walk.

What is a Yoga Retreat?
A yoga retreat is a holiday away from an everyday life where you can deepen your practice of yoga and spend time with yourself and others in a spiritually aware (but not religious) atmosphere. All our retreat venues are simple, comfortable and welcoming, and an important aspect of the retreat is the chance to participate in karma yoga, or the creation of a co-operative, clean and helpful environment for the group. Karma yoga radiates through the group and each participant benefits from the well-intentioned selfless actions of all. We encourage all participants to remain on the extensive and fascinating grounds of the Estate during the yoga retreat. Group outings will also be organised.
